The Fixe Standard Steel Long Opening 7mm Maillon is a steel link with a screw gate closure. A great quick link for climbing, caving or rope access. Long Open Galvanised 7mm offers a longer design that is a good alternative to the standard oval shape, for easier connection of wider parts.
The original oval shape was developed on the principle of a chain link fitted with manual nut opening. This shape reflects the shape of Maillon Rapide quick links connectors.
