K2 Instagram Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter 
This giveaway is conducted by K2 Base Camp (“the Promoter”). 

2. Competition period 
The giveaway opens 1 April 2026 and closes 11:59 pm AEST on 30 April 2026 (“Competition Period”). 
Entries submitted outside this period will not be accepted. 

3. Eligibility 
To enter, participants must: 

  • Be based in Australia 
  • Hold a public Instagram account (so entries can be viewed) 
  • Be aged 18+ or have parental/guardian permission to participate 

4. How to Enter 
To submit a valid entry, participants must: 

  1. Follow the K2 Instagram account 
  1. Post a climbing send video during the Competition period, and in the post:  
  1. Tag @K2BaseCamp, and 
  1. Include the hashtag #K2MagdustGiveaway. 
  1. Each Instagram profile may submit up to three entries. 

Content must be original and owned by the entrant. 

6. Prizes 
Five (5) winners will each receive: 

  • One 200g bag of Rungne Magdust Pro, and 
  • One Rungne Natural Chalk Bucket 

 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. 

7. Winner Selection 

  • Winners will be chosen at random using an online randomisation tool. 
  • The draw will be completed after the Competition Period. 
  • Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message and publicly announced on Friday, 8 May 2026, on the K2 Instagram page. 

8. Verification and Invalid Entries 
The Promoter reserves the right to: 

  • Verify the validity of entries and entrants, 
  • Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. 

9. Use of Content 
By entering, participants grant the Promoter permission to repost or share submitted videos on its social media channels. 

10. General Conditions 
The Promoter is not responsible for: 

  • Technical issues that prevent entry submission, 
  • Lost, late, or misdirected entries. 

 The Promoter may modify, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.
