La Sportiva shoes are built on European half sizes (France on the table) which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives four extra sizes per size run, in return, this gives you a better fit! More sizes mean a better fit!

The Skwama Vegan takes La Sportiva's best-selling high-performance shoe and makes it vegan. Retaining the same sensitivity and flexibility, the Skwama Vegan is the ultimate shoe for overhangs, slabs, and highly technical routes.
Designed for performance, this model is sensitive, snug-fitting, and flexible, utilising a breathable "SkinLike" insole that contours the foot without the addition of animal-derived products. Using a three-layer construction, the "SkinLike" insole consists of anti-odor microfiber on top of a breathable adhesive, bound by structural microfiber, meaning you can maintain the comfortable feel and cleanliness of leather without animal products. From there, the signature Skwama we all know and love takes over.
A low-profile, slightly stiff rand minimises stretch, while the S-Heel construction helps heel hooks and keeps the shoe tight on the toes. The ultra sticky rubber at the toe protects against abrasion and forms a grippy surface for toe hooks. Vibram XS Grip2 rubber anchors the slipper and provides maximum grip on any type of wall.

Really poor quality. CRINGE*** I have had 5 sets of Skawma's and these are by far the worst quality. All pairs lasted 3-5 years each and these vegan ones ripped within 6 months of use. I love these shoes, but would never try the weak vegan synthetic again. Ordered another pair BUT in the REGULAR Skawma

I was informed that these aren’t made from real vegans like advertised but whatever they are made from is better than leather anyway. I have very sweaty feet. Like, embarrassingly sweaty. I’m that guy that has to sheepishly scrub off the juice from his shoes on a heel hook. My previous Scarpa and La Sportiva shoes are putrid despite attempts at keeping them fresh but after about 10hours of hot, humid, indoor summer climbing and these are still fresh! My feet aren’t stained either which is even better because they were looking like I’d been chain smoking with my toes. Totally ruined my foot modelling career.
In terms of fit I went 1/2 a size up from my Solution Comps because vegans are stringy and they’re very comfy. No real ‘stretch’ just a bit of moulding to the foot after the first hour or two. Much less time in agony vs the Solutions and a similar fit now.
The bright green is very loud so you can nod knowingly at the other people in the gym because they like shoes that are in stock too and happened to stumble on a superior shoe.
