La Sportiva shoes are built on European half sizes (France on the table) which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives four extra sizes per size run, in return, this gives you a better fit! More sizes mean a better fit!

The Jackal II is a performance-oriented mountain running shoe, designed for ultra-long distances.
Ideal for off-road running over ultra distances and workouts on medium distances, the exceptional cushioning is guaranteed by the innovative Infinitoo™ high energy return technology.
For novice and elite ultrarunners alike, the Jackal II is equipped with a new lightweight upper made from eco-friendly materials, as well as an innovative midsole that combines Infinitoo Polyurethane inserts with compressed EVA to create a soft yet responsive ride. The Spiyralift tongue and collar cradle the ankle for increased proprioception and protection.
The lacing sees the loops incorporated directly into the side panels of the uppers: a solution that facilitates the adaptation of volumes during long-distance runs in which the foot tends to swell. The lateral Net-Mesh promotes ventilation and climate comfort.
