A special edition of the iconic La Sportiva TX4, the classic logo references the legendary slogan “Climbing on the Moon” as a true tribute to the golden years of climbing and the origins of La Sportiva. From these origins resole footwear was common practice, the TX4-R implements the Resole Platform insert to facilitate product resole, extending the life of this iconic approach shoe.
With all the features you know and love about the original TX4, these shoes are ready to tackle rough and long approaches, combining the grip and sensitivity of an approach shoe with the stability and support of a hiking shoe.
The lightweight leather upper provides durability, protecting your feet from harsh rocky environments while hiking or climbing. The climbing-derived Mythos lacing system secures a performance fit for technical approaches and scrambling.
Over hard, rocky routes like Mount Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains, the MegaGrip Vibram sole will stick like a gecko, combined with a climbing zone at the toe and Impact Brake System at the rear, keeping your feet in control and stride confident.
