For over 150 years, Edelrid has manufactured industry-leading products in mountain sports, including climbing ropes, harnesses, and other safety gear. In 1953, Edelrid introduced the kernmantle rope to the climbing world - a unique invention that would go on to transform the area of fall prevention by reducing rope breakage.
